AAAO is near and dear to my heart. I have gained a great deal of knowledge and formed lasting friendships from years of attending classes and conferences. This is a great organization and I look forward to a rewarding year.
I began my 17 year career with Jefferson County after completing my B.A. in Business Administration.
I am currently an Administrator in the Bessemer Tax Assessor's Office. In this position, I am afforded the opportunity to not only assist Taxpayers but to also advocate for my fellow coworkers. Prior to coming to the County, I was employed for 16 years as an office manager and paralegal for a law firm.
Being an active member in my church and community brings me satisfaction and joy because I genuinely love people. In my spare time, I enjoy decorating, football, and spending time with my family.
