Hello! My name is Quin Hameen-Collins, and I am delighted to serve as the President-Elect of the Alabama Association of Assessing Officials (AAAO)!
I have over 19 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Jefferson County, Alabama. I currently serve in Administration at the Bessemer Tax Assessor’s Office, where I’ve built a career defined by expertise, advocacy and a deep commitment to the public.
I am most passionate about the “human side” of administration-finding my greatest fulfillment in helping taxpayers navigate the world of exemptions and advocating for the growth and well-being of my co-workers.
As I prepare to lead AAAO, my vision is centered on unity and service. I am committed to strengthening the connection between state officials and the various counties represented by this phenomenal association. My goal is to ensure that AAAO remains a trusted, accessible pillar of support for citizens across the state of Alabama.
Faith and family are my world. When I’m not serving my community or church, you can find me cheering on my favorite football team, planning my family’s next travel adventure, or bringing a space to life with my love for decorating.
