I look forward to serving as President Elect for the Alabama Association of Assessing Officials for the 2024-2025 year!
With over 17 years of experience in cost accounting, general accounting, and payroll processing within the private sector, I transitioned to public service in 2008 by joining the Clay County Revenue Commissioner’s Office as a Real Property Appraiser. After obtaining my Real Property Appraiser Certification in 2017, I became a member of AAAO, where I contributed to the Education Committee, leading to further opportunities within the association. I proudly served two terms as Secretary (2021-2022 & 2022-2023) and cherish my involvement with the AAAO family, which has provided invaluable support and fostered lasting friendships.
Membership in this association offers opportunities for growth in your role, whether you are an elected official, support staff, personal property appraiser, real property appraiser, or mapper. Through ongoing education, professional development, networking, and the establishment of enduring relationships, you can enhance your career.
I invite anyone interested in becoming an active participant in AAAO to reach out to an officer or your district representative to express your willingness to serve on a committee.
If you have any questions or simply need support in any area, please contact me! I may not know the answer, but I can assure you, we together can find someone who does.
